The Examples Window enables users to access a database of molecules and their symmetry elements.

The database includes six molecules in a three-dimensional and dynamic format classified by symmetry point group. Using the buttons on the left, users can display or hide all the symmetry elements of each molecule.

  Please note:

For proper display of the examples window, the Chime plugin must be installed.  We also recommend using the Internet Explorer 6.0 browser.
